.SHORT TERM...
(This afternoon through Thursday)
Issued at 250 PM EDT Wed Sep 10 2025
Key Messages:
- Dry weather and mostly clear skies will persist through the
short term.
- Pleasantly below normal low temperatures Thursday morning will
give way to the ongoing warming trend by Thursday afternoon.
Ongoing benign weather will persist with very little of interest to
discuss. Dry and mostly clear skies will remain the rule as surface
high pressure centered over Ontario slides eastward. While Thursday
morning lows will be a couple degrees warmer than this morning, they
will still remain several degree below normal, ranging from the mid
50s to low 60s. Thursday afternoon highs will continue the ongoing
gradual warming trend. In fact, a few 90s will likely reemerge with
upper 80s largely the rule otherwise.

.LONG TERM...
(Friday morning through next Tuesday)
Issued at 250 PM EDT Wed Sep 10 2025
Key Messages:
-Dry and uneventful weather pattern through next week.
-Temperatures slowly rising to above normal by early next week.
Discussion:
Overall the weather pattern will remain unchanged through the
long term period with sunny and dry conditions expected. In fact
our QPF through Wednesday morning is at 0.00" currently. Until the
weekend temps should stay in the mid to upper 80s before the high
pressures fully settles into the eastern CONUS resulting in temps
beginning to creep back into the low to mid 90s. Temps will
overall range from 7- 12 degrees above normal for this time of
year. Longer range models past the next 7 days are not showing
much of a change in this pattern either with CPC indicating a
50-60% chance for above normal temps through September 23. The
precip outlook does have us under a leaning above average for
precip though in the 8-14 day outlook meaning we may finally see
some rain creep in towards the later part.
